Test your talent in a competition to photograph the most beautiful spots in Montgomeryshire and the Borders this summer.
If you know of a scene which would be utterly devastated by pylons, if you have a place where your spirit soars, if there is a spot that you think is the very essence of this beautiful land, then capture it on film. We want to build up a portfolio of all the scenic places here and the special relationship each one of us has with the landscape. Some of us were born here, some of us have come here from other places, some of us can look back down the generations who have made their home here and some of us have built new homes and started new families here. But we are all united in our deep and abiding love of this place. Show it in pictures and we can show the world.

We do charge an entry fee which will become part of our fund to fight the industrialisation of mid Wales:
Adults £5.00 | Children £2.00
There are three categories:
Professional, Amateur and Children under 12
Images can be sent by e-mail to MontgomeryshireAP@gmail.com
Photographs, which should be no larger than A4 but may be less, should be sent to:
Carolle Doyle, Red House, Trefnanney, Meifod, Powys SY22 6XX
They will be judged by a panel of professional photographers at the “Take The Power Back” Summer Festival on 30th July where they will be displayed and where a presentation of prizes and the “Take The Power Back” Trophy will take place.
